Customer service in the northeast

I know this post isn't going to please everyone but oh well. The past two years I've experienced the worst customer service in my life in the northeast. I've NEVER experienced anything like this in the Virginia and DC area. Cable companies, phone service, utility companies, and go ahead and add car dealerships to this list.

Each of these companies I simply wanted to give MONEY to! But yet they make it impossible.

We are trying to buy a car so we went to Staten Island Honda in New York. He said they had two in stock so we went, looked at a gray one, and said we'll like to buy one of the two black ones you said you had in stock. He said they were in storage so I asked kindly for him to get them and we are prepared to pay MSRP. His reply, "that isn't possible".

It turns out they weren't in storage but in route. He promises to call back the next day. It's 2 days later, still no call, no reply to my phone calls, nothing.

Why don't they want a paying customer willing to pay MSRP? I worked four years in the business and when I want something and happy with the price, I'll pay it. I won't try to nickle and dime them.

Instead of not telling me the truth you lie? Why? Now I'm just going to do business elsewhere, in Virginia, where they will tell me to my face and not lie.
