American Airlines: Always internal drama with flight attendants
This past week I was on 4 flights. I spent two flights on Airtran and was quite pleased with the staff, the airplane, and just about the entire experience. Great job.
A day later I am on an American Airlines international flight and each time I fly American I always tell myself not to do it again. To be blunt about it, well, the American Airline planes are beat. Maybe I'm just getting these junk planes over and over, who knows.
The plastic seems to be fading yellow on all the arm rests, the cloth seats have tears, pieces of food are always stuck to the seat in front of me, and the on board televisions are useless. Old CRT type screens mounted in the center above the aisle so you get neck strain and a constant flicker that will give you a headache after a 3.5 hour flight.
On the return flight I was able to enjoy one flight attendant yelling at another and making tons of drama. They have the beverage cart rammed in the aisle right against me and yelling back and fourth about giving free sandwiches to unattended minors. Come on. Give me a break. Do your job and settle down on the the drama 30,000 feet in the air. Get over it.
I plan to write a nice little letter to American Airlines and perhaps someone with AA will stumble upon this and care to reach out like Ramada Hotels did a few weeks ago and took the proper action.
Lighten up AA flight staff, your job doesn't require getting stressed over handing sandwiches out.
