Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I had the pleasure of spending two days in Milwaukee Wisconsin this week to meet with a client and it was an interesting time to arrive with the Harley Davidson 105 year anniversary happening. Milwaukee is a smaller city with a pretty slow night-life from what I could tell. Lake Michigan still amazes me with it's size! We ate at The Calderone Club (http://www.calderoneclubfoxpoint.com/) when we arrived and it was great homemade italian dishes. We took our clients out to Capital Grille and dropped a pretty penny. The chef was kind enough to give us a tour of the kitchen and dry aging area which was pretty fun. Everyone thought we were important when we walked back out :)

The 105th Harley Davidson anniversary had bikers arriving in town from every little town and city you can think of. It reminded me of Rolling Thunder in Washington DC when I used to ride. I must admit, seeing all these bikers reminded me how much I miss my Harley. I'll be back in Virginia full time soon enough, sleeping on the mountain, with my Harley in the garage. I gotta keep this corporate America gig rolling to finance the country inn I have my sites set on.

I'll be in New Jersey for another day and flying out to Montego Bay Jamaica on Saturday. I hope everyone is safe from Hurricane Gustav and damage is minimal. I'll find out soon enough.
