Hopefully everyone is back home safe after an enjoyable memorial day weekend! This weekend was memorial day and my birthday, so we combined the two together! Saturday we spent time in the suburbs of New Jersey looking at a few homes. Sunday morning we left and went to Bushkill, PA, to look at my property I purchased in Saw Creek Estates. We stayed at Saw Creek for some time and checked out Bushkill Falls and did a short (1 mile or so) hike to the water fall. It was quite beautiful and I got some killer photos.

Later in the day we went to Mt. Airy Casino. I must say, this casino impressed me! It was like a little vegas, lots of nice things, a night club, and a wide array of games. They had big blackjack digital tables with plasma TV's and dealers, all $25 minimums. I'm not a fan of digital blackjack but they were packed!

Later in the day we checked into "The Chateau Resort" at Camelback Mountain. Not a bad room, top floor, split level room. I personally would of spent a little more on the decor but it was nice considering the price.

Monday morning we headed back to the property in Saw Creek and enjoyed sitting by the pool baking in the sun! It was great! I really like Saw Creek Estates, it's a gigantic community with enough pools so even on memorial day weekend there was plenty of seating available, etc. The entire community has beautiful scenery.

I used my new TomTom GPS to take a back road home and missed all the traffic.

Overall we had an amazing memorial day weekend in the Poconos. I can't wait to go back and lounge by the pool in a few weekends.
