The past 4 days I spent in Virginia working around the properties. I love the business, truly I do, but it can sure beat the heck out of you after a long weekend. To start, we had 3 full days of work at the house. I completely landscaped the outside, had an electrician fix a light issue in the hallway, completely sealed the two tier deck, power washed the entire exterior of the house, steam cleaned all the upstairs carpet, cleaned the entire house, replaced all the guts of the upstairs toiler, among a few other things.

At the resort in the condo my main objective was to install a computer and wall mount a nice LCD Monitor on a swing arm, which was successful and adds a very nice touch to the unit. A few days before I came down the garbage disposal broke so that was tacked onto the list. Not to get into the details but I am glad I am not a plumber and will never attempt plumbing again. Without knowledge of fitting together the PVC Pipes I found myself unable to purchase a replacement set of pipes to hook to the garbage disposal, wasting 4 hours, going to the hardware store 4 times, and unable to actually hook it up. As it turns out I had to hire a plumbing company to arrive and fix it today (Tuesday) for $100! I hooked the unit up easily, wired it, and mounted it. The hard part was getting the pipes in place!

I'm extremely pleased with both units and the house is booked solid (every day this year!!) until May 1 and I have half of May booked and a week in June!

The condo is a little slow so far but hopefully an advertisement tonight will get a last minute booking for this weekend.
