The Inn at Little Washington

Amazing! We loved our dining experience. The Inn at Little Washington is the best restaurant I have ever dined at. I've ate at some pretty nice places on business trips for work, in every major city, and this place puts them to shame. We went for my birthday on May 24, 2010. The Inn is located in Washington Virginia, a quick drive from Blue Mountain Oasis. The entire area is beautiful and really let's you escape from the daily grind.

The outside of the building appeals to be small, but I was surprised how large it was once we were inside. The courtyard is landscaped beautiful with a little fish pond you can hear if you dine near the courtyard. We sat facing the courtyard on a very nice old Victorian style twin seat (I would call it a loveseat). The windows to the courtyard were open and it was 6:30pm, a perfect setting.

The menu is sleek and very elegant. They had a personal message inside of the menu for our dining experience. The staff were very attentive and nobody seemed snobby or stuck up, just down to earth and eager to serve an amazing meal. The wine list came fast and we selected a local Virginia Wine from Three Fox Vineyards.

Throughout the experience lots of little extra items were brought out by our wait staff, presented beautifully. Our entire dinner was about 3 hours.

My main course was an amazing cut of Filet Mignon that I can still remember how delicious it was.

Amber loved everything and is much more of a foodie than me and she was very impressed.

If you ever have a chance to go here, do it. You will pay just over $400 for a dinner of two, so it certainly must be a special occasion and something you plan for.
