Welcome to my website! If I had to describe myself in 100 characters or less I would say: Weekend Oasis Vacation Rentals, web guy, home restorer & aspiring wine maker! Looks like I'm all over the board, huh? Given that I really am all over the board and involved in lots of stuff that I like to think is fun and exciting I've decided to turn this domain into my little landing page on the web for anyone that cares to learn more about me!
During the day I work for a startup internet company based out of New York City. Providing solutions to help companies reach maximum ROI and on-line growth excites me. Some would consider me an internet visionary with over 13 years of technology, internet and on-line marketing expertise. Skilled in on-line media with expertise in website optimization (MVT and AB split testing, behavioral targeting, general targeting) and SEO (organic search tactics and link building)
The first website I started was in 1998, which resided on this domain. Jamz Web Solutiosn was an on-line web design firm and over 10 years I created several on-line web properties for small businesses. I dissolved JAMZ in 2008 to focus on my personal projects and offer limited on-line market services to select customers.
GM Performance Tuning (GMPT) was one of the first real websites I started and it is an on-line community for General Motors enthusiasts. I still actively manage GMPT and we have over 80,000 pieces of content on-line and hundreds of unique visitors per day browse the website.
Weekend Oasis vacation rentals is my small business located in Virginia, renting vacation cabins and cottages in Front Royal, Amissville, and at Bryce Resort. Luckily, I am fortunate enough to have great people on the team to help the business grow. I would love to host you and have you as our guest and become part of the Weekend Oasis vacation rental family.
Wine making is a hobby of mine that I hope to morph into a larger business plan, owning a vineyard at one of the larger Weekend Oasis vacation rental properties. I am currently in the process of small batch wine making and have a 2,500 bottle cellar for my private reserve.. I favor local wines (Make Mine Virginia Wine) and love going to wine festivals and visiting as many local vineyards as possible. You can learn about my wine making adventures at Backyard Winery. I would love to share some of my creations with you at a wine tasting.
Project Hillside is a project Amber and I are working on located in Shavertown, Pennsylvania. We are remodeling an 80 year old home and find ourselves staying at the place every weekend. It is coming along nicely and you can stay up to date on the project at our website located at www.ProjectHillside.com.
I like to consider all my projects/businsses a hobby. I really enjoy working on all of them and I've found if you build the founcation right you can slowly morph them into someting successful. Outside of all that and during the summer months I love to ride my motorcycle. It is a Harley Davidson Iron that is totally blacked out, no chrome. We also have a Pug and Boston Terrier (Oliver and Bernard) that Amber and I enjoy endless love from.
